I’m grateful to any of my customers who would like to write testimonials for me and below you will find three who have done so.
I’m hoping that these writings can provide the much needed social proof that encourages a wavering prospect of an order to turn into an interested customer. An evaluation from a previous customer goes further than you realise and is exactly the same as word of mouth recommendation, only written.
Basically, here’s proof that my customers are happy with their bespoke orders and that they wouldn’t hesitate to recommend my creations to their friends and families.
What more can I say?…….thank you everyone!!!
I first saw Amanda’s work at Tynemouth Market where she had a stall with a fantastic array of frames. Amanda helped me design a frame to suit my requirements and I was able to place an order there and then. It was a great surprise when I received it in the post a few days later. I was really pleased with my bespoke frame, the quality and cost were excellent. I have since bought frames for friends who have been delighted with how personal the frames are.
I would highly recommend Vintage Card and Button Art to anyone who is looking for a personal gift that pays attention to detail and quality. Amanda is really helpful and is able to help you find or create whatever you are looking for.Anthony Clark
I have ordered several frames from Vintage Card and Button Art. One of my favourites being a trio of vintage maps mounted behind hearts which pinpoint special locations in our lives. The frame tells a story of our journeys and holds memories of our times travelling. I also commissioned a personalised gift for my Mam which I was so excited to give her as I knew how delighted she would be at the extra thought for her gift. It even has pride of place by her front door because she enjoys sharing it with her friends.
I particularly like the thought of giving new life to old pieces such as the vintage cards, which in my opinion creates timeless art which, in my home, will move from room to room and will last a lifetime.Claire Twinn
Vintage Mr and Mrs
I have two pieces from the ‘Vintage card n button art’ range. The first was a gift of a picture frame using vintage cards, which I love, it is so personal and the quality is fantastic. My partner bought it for our apartment and it reads ‘Wor Lass’. I was so impressed with the innovative design and vintage materials that I commissioned a further piece ~ a framed vintage button heart. The frame was delivered in less than a week, and the packaging was as unique as the frame adding to the experience of ordering from this company, once again the quality and design were excellent.
As soon as my friends saw the frames they were asking for contact details to commission their own frames, of which they have to the number of around 8 further pieces. I have no hesitation in recommending Amanda’s work; it is competitively priced, is excellent quality and uniquely designed and I love the fact that every piece has an age to it yet is beautifully handmade.Deborah Gibbons
Unique, Vintage and Personalised Gifts
I love buying unique gifts whether it’s for a birthday, christening, house warming, in fact any occasion and to be able to commission a personalised unique gift just ticks all the right boxes!
The first order I placed with vintagecardnbuttonart was at Christmas time for relatives who had recently been married. This piece was a ‘scrabble frame’ with the couple’s names interlocking as if on a scrabble board. They absolutely loved it and were quite taken with the thought I had put into their gift. The 2nd piece was a button heart made to fit in with my friend’s room décor. I chose red vintage buttons in a white double mount and white frame.
I was yet again delighted with the quality of the gift, you can tell that time and care had been taken into making it, it was perfect. The prices for the commissions are incredibly competitive for bespoke, vintage gifts and almost feel like a steal, which encouraged me to treat myself too. My first order was for the words ’Carpe Diem’ to be framed using vintage playing cards from a card game called Lexicon. Being told that the cards came from a pack used in the 1940’s added to the interest of the piece and hanging in my hallway, this frame has pride of place.
I had it framed in white with a double mount. I also needed ( and I mean needed!!) to have a Geordie saying and opted for ‘Wor Hoose’ to celebrate moving into our new home and have hung this frame in the vestibule where it meets and greets all who visit. It gets quite a bit of attention and creates some great conversations. I love this piece, especially because I am proud of my roots and funny Geordie sayings but also because the moment you step into my house you are welcomed with humour. This piece again, is beautifully made and the mounts are selected perfectly to compliment the content.
I have no hesitation in recommending vintagecardnbuttonart for a unique, vintage, personalised piece of art, something special for yourself or for a gift where no two are the same.Susan Yeldham
